Renaissance Pediatrics has been a proud partner of the Read Out and Read program since May 2006. Reach Out and Read is a non-profit organization that provides age appropriate books to children between 6 months -5years at each well check up. This program encourages the importance of early literacy skills for families in the community so that our children enter school prepared for success in reading.

There are studies that have shown that children who are read to in the early years of life are more likely to read on schedule and excel in school. As a prominent member of the community, Renaissance Pediatrics strives to strengthen and improve literacy awareness in our families.

Fight for Literacy!

Help us in our fight to promote literacy in our community. We have partnered with the Reach out and Read organization to provide books to children at their well check ups between 6months to 5 years of age. We are encouraging our parents to read to their children at an early age, studies have shown that children that are read to do better in school and take a greater interest in learning. As this school year is approaching we are going through more books, and are asking for support from our community in helping to get these books to the children, so they may get ahead start for this school year.
