Cassie Roberts

Cassie Roberts graduated with honors from the University of Texas with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2003, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau. She worked as a certified ICU nurse taking care of ill children and adults for 7 years before completing her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas, Medical Branch. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice through the University of Alabama, and is researching better pediatric pain control. She has been a volunteer instructor for CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support for the American Heart Association since 2004. Currently completing her certification as a Lactation Consultant, she has been providing breastfeeding education and support for 10 years. She is exicted to bring these skills to the Renaissance Pediatrics family. Cassie is happily married to Brandon, a Pilot and Aeronautical Engineer, and they enjoy flying and running with their two Siberian Huskies, Cobaka and Volkodav.
