Dr. Dorbad
Dr. Dorbad grew up in Medford, New Jersey. In 1994, he attended the University of Virginia and studied Physics. He was involved in extensive volunteer work with children in Charlottesville. He was a Big Brother for 4 years. In 1998, he attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, and did research with Dr. Donald Lewis, studying migraine headaches. In 2002, he attended residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. During his residency, he lectured on Asthma, ADHD, and Neuroblastoma. Since 1998, he has also taught Physics to prospective medical students in preparation for their entrance exam.
In July 2005, Dr. Dorbad began his journey with Renaissance Pediatrics. He teaches medical students from Eastern Virginia Medical School and pediatric residents from Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. He enjoys music, cooking, gardening, skiing/snowboarding, and tennis. He lives in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk.
