Martha C. Holley, RN, MSN, CPNP, IBCLC

A lifelong native of Hampton Roads, Martha is a 1973 graduate of the Norfolk General Hospital School of Nursing.  She attained her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Old Dominion University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society of nursing.  Martha has worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at CHKD, and for the last 18 years in pediatric primary care.  In 1998 she became board-certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and has also been an internationally board-certified lactation consultant for 13 years, specializing in educating and counseling nursing mothers.

Martha resides in Suffolk with her husband Bob.  She enjoys working in the yard, exercising, and spending time with her six grandchildren.  One of her great joys has been caring for thousands of children over the years, and seeing them grow up and have families of their own.  It is especially rewarding when they bring their own children to her for care.
