Dr. Dorbad grew up in Medford, New Jersey.  In 1994, he attended the University of Virginia and studied Physics.  He was involved in extensive volunteer work with children in Charlottesville.  He was a Big Brother for 4 years.  In 1998, he attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, and did research with Dr. Donald Lewis, studying migraine headaches.  In 2002, he attended residency at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.  During his residency, he lectured on Asthma, ADHD, and Neuroblastoma.  Since 1998, he has also taught Physics to prospective medical students in preparation for their entrance exam.

 

In July 2005, Dr. Dorbad continues his journey as a pediatrician with Renaissance Pediatrics.  He also volunteers his time with Chesapeake Free Clinic.  He enjoys photography, cooking, snowboarding, and tennis.  He lives in the Freemason section of Norfolk.
